Annabelle Dominguez
Annie grew up in Hampton Bays and spent her childhood in and on our bays and oceans.
Our coastal community instilled in her a passion to protect and restore the local marine environment and also inspired her to pursue a career in marine science. Annie graduated from Cornell University this past May with Bachelors of Arts in Biology and Chemistry and is taking a gap year before pursuing grad school in marine science and conservation. Annie joined PBK because she loves how their work directly benefits our community and she was interested in expanding outreach so that more people take an interest in the organization. She also does research on bivalve diseases with Bassem Allam out of Stony Brook University SoMAS and previously interned with our partner organization, Surfrider Eastern Long Island, last summer!
